Ventrilo Server

So Warhammer doesn't have an in-game voice chat system setup?

Hosting a ventrilo server is really quite easy. It's a very small app, and you're only required to have a static IP (+$5 a month for Embarq users), or a Dynamic DNS (maps mydomainname.xxx to a dynamically assigned IP address), which is even less a year. If anyone wants to host, I can help them set it up. You'd want the computer/server you choose to run it on to start on all the time though. I'd host it myself, but my latency sucks out here.

The only thing I'm unsure about is the licensing. It's free to host, but the older version had an 8 connection limit. I think they bumped it to 200 somewhere along the line, but I can't find any information about the the newest version 3 on any connection limit.

Most In-Game chat sucks. WoW's blew huge balls. As far as vent, I don't see anyone near Starke having their comp on 24/7, nor the connection and reliability.

I can't remember how much it was last time to host our vent server, but it was reasonable.
